PORNOGRAPHY

This course will be showing explicit pornographic material every week in both the screenings and lectures.

Discussion Groups 2 X 10 20%

In-class Exams: 2 X 20 40%

Take-home Exam 40%
Following the final screening, students will be given a take-home exam question that will be discussed at the last lecture. The question will focus primarily on the final three films (the Debbie Does Dallas Triumverate) but will also encompass other films, readings and lectures from the course. Students will be expected to undertake independent research of their own and write a sound, scholarly response in essay format. Your answer should be approximately 5000 words.
