anyone listening to the radio in the last 40 min? fuck they were playing some awesome mixes!!! i felt like i was in a night club in my car. haha

Like they were mixing up tracks with other tracks, some scratching n shit.

If I recall correctly, they're live on location at Opus on wednesday nights.. it's great!! I wish it was like that everyday but I don't think it is..

Amp Radio 90.3 playes Tiesto - Feel it in my bones. Haha thats the closest the radio will get to a trancy feel. And when the part without lyrics come they cut it out. /fail

90.9 and 101.5 played some trance/house sometimes late saturday night, that obviously went into the shitter tho, i remember in miami, there were about 3-4 radio stations that played strictly house or trance :( .. then the rest was pretty much latin-top 40.. and more latin lol

We have 90.3, 101.5, 98.5, and probably some other smaller stations that play the EXACT same crap.

I listen to CJAY every morning, Forbes is Awesome.
But other than their morning show, the rest of cjay, and every other station sucks. Except for X now and then

What is there to like about forbes? They take all their funny soundbytes from other radio stations and the only joke he knows how to make is one involving farts.

I'll admit he is a super nice guy and helps out the community and people around him a lot but his radio show is just garbage.

I will not continue with this post because I know many people on this board may like the clusterf**ked FM oscillations being transmitted at 90.3, 92.1, 98.5, etc

satellite isn't much better, i used mine all the time until i would change the channels only to hear the exact same song on each of them at the same time

then it got to the point where they didn't play anything i couldn't already hear on the radio and thought why am i paying for this

But if you actually listened to their morning show, you'd know thats not the case anyways (and no i dont have shares in CJAY, so i could really care less if you listened or not)...
But whatever, we all have our opinions.

I am not a huge fan of Top 40 on top of all that too... So that might explain a bit.

I like amp, but the one thing I hate is when I flip between the three top 40 stations amp, vibe and 101.5 and all three are playing nickel back at the same time. Hahaha that has happened a few times. I drive around in my car for work. I prefer the vibe morning show in the morning though.

^^^Yea on my way to work I tune in to the Vibe for a bit, just recently though to see if I could maybe win their $1000 give-away.

After that, its nothing but my iphone. I got a $15 FM transmitter/charger from dealextreme and driving sure has been more fun.

Amp has pretty good live mixed sessions at 5:00pm I do believe unfortunately it's like only 30 minutes long....
