some of you may remember the hit n run i had on my 4dr civic beater during one of the last few heavy snow falls of the winter season. that one happened while it was parked on the street in front of my apt.

now i thought i had the system beat, parking the car underground and only time its parked in public is when i either have my eye on it or its parked at the back of the lot while i run in for groceries quickly.

i came out of superstore today after 10-15 minutes of shopping with the car parked in the far far back of the lot alone...and i noticed something.

no note, no one came up and told me they saw anything.....have people completely lost their morals?

so i wanna put the word out on the streets that im looking for a passenger side door moulding for crx, preferable used so that it matches my other used ones.

this car has literally been in public parking lots a total of about 5 times this year, and this is the first year driving the car.

i added more pics of the car just for fun to try and cheer myself up.

* i need to buy black floor mats and need badly to detail my interior.

the sedan is worth 400$ so i wont likely be fixing the fender unless i find one for cheap already painted
its a winter only car

Lock shimasyou is sweet. And that's the first of those back seats I've seen.

Cool car. Sorry about your luck.

Well... on the bright side, the trim did exactly what it's designed to do.

yah at least your hit and run probably wasn't too expensive... the one some drunk douche did to me on may long was 6300 at chinook mall, and of course security cameras told me "nothing conclusive" was viewed despite being parked in the 3rd stall from the front... fuck assholes

Parking your prized posesison in a Superstore parking lot is akin to leaving it in a Detroit ghetto neighborhood and expecting nothing to happen to it.

i parked it on purpose at the very back of the lot way out in the open with no one parked anywhere near me.

looking back i think i would rather have a door ding rather than park in the open to be vulnerable to a hit from a moving vehicle.

my last prized possession was rear ended and written off so i'm kinda used to it.

You have THE WORST luck.

Sucks to hear about more bad news. When will people learn :banghead:

Hows that hooked on phonics working for you Archer?

I hear they offer a money back guarantee.

Hard to pick up with the multitude of one sentence paragraphs. I guess I just didn't see the point of it? Especially for a fairly minor door dent.

last company I worked for did all maintenance if any cameras were faulty and no word of a lie, probably 4-5 cameras at all times dont work in there parking lot. 2nd level parking spots by the theater...odds are its not working right now. 1 camera every 2 weeks dies in the parking lot.

You certainly have poor luck and parking out of the way is the right thing to do at most places but not the Superstore. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Asian women are the worst drivers as a group in this city so parking your car in a lot full of little Asian women is a recipe for disaster.

Only in the NW can I pull up next to what appears from a distance to be beautiful S-Class MB until I get close and see major wheel rash on the front wheel and scuffs on both front and rear bumpers. Of course there's a little Asian lady with her face 2 inches from the top of the steering wheel and still trying to see over it.

yah that is exactly what I figured, I was directly infront of joeys, 2 feet from the line next to the handicap stalls, from 9:45 - 12:15 on Saturday May long and yup.. come out to a white streak down my panel about 12 inches and it was pushed in 3-4, 6300 dollars later oooo boy was I so happy....:banghead:
and then to top it off chinook security told me absolutely nothing, then police wouldn't even so much as call chinook security as chinook will not release information great process
