I'm looking to "winterize" my car and I'd like to go back to my stock suspension. I have ground control coilovers with eibach springs, and I just want to put my stock struts and springs back in.

I don't want to spend money on a spring compressor or a decent jack so could anyone help me out for a reasonable fee? Or refer me to someone who could?

I will probably pick up some equipment in the spring and do some of this stuff myself.

Thanks

If you have ground controls, why don't you just set them to the highest setting? That'll be even higher than stock ride height.

I've tried that. I can get three of the coils to the very top. But one of them can't get past the halfway mark - it's almost as if the spring is too long.

I have to change a mount on one of them anyway, so maybe I'll just pull them all out and redo them. I originally had WBB6 put these in for me, but I haven't been able to get a hold of him to ask him about it.

Is there anywhere I can rent a hoist/use one for a small fee? I don't have money for a decent jack right now - I'm working off the spare tire jack.

If you go to Canadian Tire, you can rent almost anything for free.
Just give them a VISA imprint, and bring it back 2 days later.
