View Full Version : Nissan Recalls 2.55 million cars

One of the problems of platform sharing... recalls look massive. Costs of around $150 mill means ~$100cdn/recall... nothing major mechanically, but adds up quick :).

Not sure how much of this has to do with platform sharing though, not familiar with some of those japanese only cars.

The defect was found inside a sensor in the engine that could lead to a short-circuit and stop the engine from working. There have been no reports of accidents caused by the problem.

For the lazy - just curious what was busted. :D

they just recalled the qr25de as well for a potentital precat disintegration. sigh poor nissan...maybe its time i jump ship lol

too bad. It seems to be nothing major, just a recall. the issue is that it wasnt caught sooner. Every car has recalls, this just happens to be a a widespread recall.

Check to make sure they are up all the way and the door is closed firmly. Because of the frameless windows, I've noticed there tends to be a bit more NVH from them.

they are all the way up.. i dont get it from the passenger window just my side.. its kinda loud and pisses me off

i sometimes forget to not roll down my window after it rains or after i wash my car. it pisses me off, cuz it's so damn annoying.
