Grand Isle

Just curious as to what happened to this place. I just was thinking about going for chinese foood the other day and recalled a gr.6 field trip to grand isle.. from what I vaguely remember.. that place was awesome, did they move?

My parents know the owner and once Grand Isle went out of business, he opened another one on 14st NW and that went out of bisuiness too lol.

Grand Isle was great though, had 2 banquets there. One of the best most open locations, with the fish tank and esculator. What made them go out was when the centre st bridge went under renos.

uhh the 14st one never went out of business, it was sold to Globefish.

:werd: I don't recall a fish tank either.

The 14th St. location was bought out by Globefish I think cause they wanted to expand. I'm pretty sure they didn't go out of business, lol. Big difference between getting bought out and going out of business lol

Nah, there was a Fish Tank usually you can see it I believe on the right hand side when you go up the elevators. Also, there is another just inside the restaurant...

There were definately some eye candy that worked there before...hostess woot!
