My subs wont put out sound.

Here is what I know:
Subs: Audiobahn alum12 x2
Amp: JBL BP1200.1
Deck: Pioneer deh-p9300 i think

The subs are dual voice coil 6ohms wired in parallel to a 1.5ohm level.

The amp gets power, ground, and remote. The light turns green but there is no sound. I tried swapping RCAs but not worky. I dont have any speakers to swap and test but im going to try the old 9V battery thing. I think the speakers are working so that would leave the problem in the RCAs. I would, however, like to test all of my options before scrapping the amp.

any suggestions?

i had the same problem with my alpine amp. after i tested all the connections (power, remote, ground, 2X rcas, speakers).
it was still under warranty and they sent it away. They couldnt repair it so they replaced it.
I hope that your amp/speaker isnt fryed but it kinda sounds like it is...

well fuck me then. i bought the amp from a guy on here and it was already used so im pretty sure its out of warranty. It worked for a little while.

anyone have any suggestions for testing to confirm the deadness or lack thereof of my amp?

make sure all wiring is correct and has good contact, check behind your deck as well. if all is good your amp is most likely fried chicken
