Does anyone know where to get a cheap faceplate for a Alpine CDE-9874? Ive looked on eBay found 1 for 95 bucks :eek: :nut:

wow this deck looks ancient, i would say fuck it and buy a new deck, 95$ is more than what the deck is worth

I thought if there is some place I can get a cheapo faceplate, I can just slap it on there and call it a day. I know 95$ is more then the deck is worth, thats why Im asking if anyone knows where I might be able to find a (way) cheaper one.

The CNET review for the deck is from mid 08', can't be that old, haha it really does look pretty out of date though. I'm not sure exactly where you could get a replacement face but I have an Alpine CDA-9884 kicking around, including an integrated ipod connector and an aftermarket ipod charging/3.5mm aux connector. I wouldn't have any problem letting the whole thing go for that same 95 bucks if it comes down to you needing to pay that much for a replacement faceplate.

bah.. f you would have said somthing like 2 weeks ago.. i fried the power source on mine.. maybe its still in the garage but i think i threw it away.. ill have a look tommorrow morn
