cheapest flight to to montreal?

I was hoping to make a 5-7 day trip to montreal to stay with a friend and come back. I'm not too familiar with any of the discount websites around or about prices this time of month, so was wondering if anyone with experience could tell me where I could hope to buy the cheapest 2-way tickets and how much I should expect to spend at a minimum?

I've seen $139 one-way (base fare) when I was searching about 3-4 weeks ago for flights mid/end of August.

Well, the $139 deal - I saw it right on the Westjet and AC websites (key is timing, usually Tuesday-Thursday is the "sale" fare days).
