Need help setting up home audio system.

Anyone on here good with home electronics? My house is pre-wired for speakers and various controls throughout - but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

Any suggestions as to good articles on this - or somehow I can hire at a decent rate for a few hours to help me out?

Do you have a receiver to hook up the speakers to?

Yup, but the walls are wired for a channel selector, volume controls, Cat 5 wiring, etc.....
