Lately ive really gotten into hiking and plan to do alot more of it in the upcoming weeks.

Ive gone to Yamnuska and the Big beehive...can anyone suggest other mountains? I want something that is a day trip only...anywhere between 1-5 hrs ascending will do. Toughness of the climb does not matter, im game for anything!

Rundle is a nice scramble depending on your ability/confidence :dunno:

Devil's Thumb is good if you're up to the challenge (more a challenge of confidence rather than ability, even though you'll need both), Heart Mountain is easy but always fun because of it, despite the happenings yesterday Indefatigable is a quick way to get a good climb in. Bow Peak is a good scramble too.

For a quick but rewarding (despite being ridiculously easy) hike do the Three Lakes Valley (basically the ever popular Chester Lake hike, but keep going up). Can get to the third lake and back in 4 hours if you're quick, but its worth it to have lunch at the second and just sit back if its a nice sunny day. Its not a peak of course, but still good. I haven't done Healy Pass in a while but its a good one to try as well. There are a few good ones that hae Sunshine Village as a starting point actually.
