I am very disappointed that I have to let this go but my new condo only has one parking stall, so I have to rid myself of a vehicle.
Originally purchased in 2005 from a friend back in Grande Prairie, I set out to finish the project that he started.
This Daytona is actually quite special, it being the Canadian touring show car for Chrysler in 1991. This is apparent by it's unique interior and also a 2nd plaque under the hood which lists it as a Canada Show Car. This was the epitome of the Daytona Shelby C/S for 1991.
Vehicle has MANY upgrades including:
-upgraded Super 60 series turbocharger
-fully rebuilt 2.5L engine w/ approx 7500 driven kms
-rebuilt and ported T2 intake manifold
-rebuilt and ported exhaust manifold

The fun stuff:
I recently had the car tuned to run a VERY STRONG 18-20 psi and was dyno'd putting down 242whp and a very high 289 ft-lbs of torque. Unfortunately I never got the chance to run it down Castrol to see what kind of time I could achieve... Just before I bought my last car, I retuned it down to just above stock, currently running about 12-14 psi, but have an extra ECU for a fast, easy re-tune to get the boost back up. Car has been an absolute joy to work on and to drive.
The less fun stuff:
Only current issue is a minor electronic blip that occurred a short while ago, in which the speedo stopped reading. I took it to Crosstown quickly and they determined that it was a sensor and nothing much of a big deal, but I haven't had it repalced yet as I got caught up with buying the new car.
Asking Price :
I originally bought the car for 5000.00 and the total investment, not including the price of the car, far exceeds 13 000.00 at this point. I am therefore respectfully asking for 4000.00 OBO. I feel that with the amount of parts alone in this car, that is a very reasonable asking price...
