I have a 'lightspeed' cone filter, and I tried using K&N products to clean it. I spray the red oil on, and the next day it's white again.(filter) This K&N oil isen't working because I did an oil change at the same time and a week later the oil was black. help?

Which filter are you talking about the Air or oil? Is lightspeed a K&N product?

I found it at work, Free! it's off a 1998 civic, Filter + intake pipe and pcv hose, I hope it's re-usable, I have to take my bumper off to service it so I can't really 'test' different products. But thank you for helping me out

I doubt you're supposed to use a k&n cleaner for another brand of filter.
