How do you get the border and information box and junk around your drawings? is it something you have to make yourself or is this in the program itself?

Titleblock my friend.
Most companys/clients make their own.
You'll have to make your own if you are doign work from home, or contact a friend to send you one and gut it and make it your own.
I could send you one later when i get home if you want. I have my own their.

its usually in templates. If not, take 10 minutes to make a nice one that you will always have.

don't forget to make the layer your viewport is on non printing or you will end up with a border printing around your titleblock border when you plot, like in the above picture

Should be in the titleblock anywayy :poosie:
(i know you know)
But OP title blocks should be in Paper space and the model should be shown through a Scaled VP inside it.
