This is not working, I have the newest Firefox browser. But when I go export, it just saves my bookmarks in a single HTML file with them all showing up as links on that page. How can I get each bookmark saved individually in a seperate folder? (so that it looks like icons, not links).

Instead of choosing "Export HTML", just select "Backup" instead. It'll be saved to as a .json file. You can then use that to restore your stuff.
