Have an '05 530i with the 6 speed steptronic auto tranny.
When in manumatic mode, while shifting down, when shifting into M1 just after coming to a stop, the vehicle lurches.
We brought the car to the Gallery and they did a full diagnostic that found nothing to be wrong.
We were told that this is a common issue with the 6 speed manuamatic in the 5 series but it has no adverse effect on the vehicle.
Has anyone else experienced this and found an actual diagnosis or are they telling me the truth.
