Part Source.

Highly recommend this oil. It has some of the lowest volatility on the market. I drive an S2000 so for me it is the most important feature of any oil, especially when you spin 9000rpm. I beat my car down daily so she sees a lot of that.

I was using Mobil 1 (NON EP) and the car would eat a bottle every 2000kms. Consumption has dropped by quite a margin after the switch, and over the last change (15000kms) its used up 2 quarts, which is not bad for an AP1.

I change it once a year (~15,000kms), and it still has an excellent consistency when coming out. In this case I believe you get what you pay for, even if its $14.99/quart.

Unfortunately, I have no idea if it is a suitable oil for a diesel application, so you do your research.

Canadian Tire sells the oil for double the suggested retail price. I am a 'preferred customer' and have the complete price list and buy at cost, same as a dealer. Only difference is I make no money on purchases while a dealer is given a kickback for selling. Let me know what you are looking for and I can give you a price.

Yeah, I use it in my Sportbike exclusively for the exact same reason. My engine runs noticeably cooler with it too, even over using Motul, which is also extremely high end oil.

It blows my mind when I see guys putting Shell Rotella in their sportbikes. Yes, you can be sure its a great idea to put oil designed for Diesel engines in an engine that regularily sees 12k+++ plus Rpms.:nut: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I use AmsOil in everything, even my lawnmower & line trimmer. It surprising how well it makes everything run.
