Hey guys,
Kinda new to these forums and i was wondering if i could get your opinion on which car would ultimately be the best car for 15,000. I am looking for basically a fast car but not just fast and very shoddy interior. also decently cheap to maintain. alright thanks alot

rsx type s would be a good choice.
maybe a s2k if you can find a cheap one.

kinda hard to tell you cause in the end your gunna have to find a car you like. Maybe more info on what kind of car you like would help?

It's true - much more criteria needs to be revealed.

If you're looking for reliability, Honda is one of your best choices. (Just watch out for the 98-02 transmissions.)

For 15k, I think an RSX Type-S would be one of your better choices. Good for year-round use. S2000 is a great suggestion if you just want a summer car.

If luxury is your requirement, then it is a totally different ballgame and makes things difficult as brands like Mercedes and Audi had less than expected quality during the years that are in your price range. But still, if you want something really quite quick then an S4 might be a decent choice. Judging by your inability to put together a clear question though - I am not sure we need you behind the wheel of an S4.... :dunno:

honda prelude and acura rsx are both good choices.

Lots of options:

RSX-S
Civic SiR hatch
Integra Type R/GSR and have some cash left over for mods.
'06 Civic Si

GTi 1.8T
Jetta 1.8T

Sentra SE-R Spec V (6spd, LSD) and some cash to mod

Mazdaspeed Protege

Then of course much faster cars with "shoddy" interior:

SRT-4
Cobolt SS
Mustang GT

My ultimate pick if you're not comfortable modding would be RSX-S or a GTi.

Might be able to find a TSX in this price range too.

Isn't that just auto transmission?

RSX Type-s would be a nice solid ride.

^^ Sorry - yes. The manuals are solid.

If the Mustang GT isn't too "shoddy" of an interior, then it could be a good buy. Can pick up 2000-2004 converts for around 10-12 and hardtops for as low as 7-8g's. These years were actually rated as the highest quality Ford product in their entire lineup for those years...
