:dunno: As far as I'm concerned, the B3000 is the same thing as a Ford Ranger.

different engine and body, that generally constitutes a different vehicle. but who really cares.

I guess if you want to consider Mazda domestic, you have to include Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin too....which are all owned by Ford. As far as the Kompressor thing goes, it's about the worst thing I have seen since the Boeing-G2 Integra I spotted this morning

Just different body and that's it. The ranger is exactly the same. B3000 = ford pushrod 3.0L vulcan V6

You are wrong, the last mazda truck that was a true mazda was the b2200/b2600 up till 93 which had a different body style. Both the 2.2 and 2.6 were I-4s and neither had a dual plug head.
The B3000 is a ranger with a ford pushrod engine.... The same engine I had in my truck. These would be 94+
HOWEVER, the B2300, which is 94+ as well used the ford 2.3L I-4 which DID have dual spark plug heads until 1995 I believe. This is almost certainly what you are referring to. 8 plugs in total for this I4... the same 2.3L family used in pintos, SVO mustangs, XR4Tis etc.

ask on www.rangerpowersports.com if you don't believe me
