Best Place to Watch Sunset in Calgary

Where's the best place to watch the sunset in Calgary?

Is Crescent Heights any good? I know Signal Hill and the West of Calgary is good, but what about somewhere closer to the core?

Cresent Heights is pretty nice, I like the view from there.

Actually, now that I've thought about it, if anyone has some sweet spot in Springbank or the like that I could drive out to and set-up some chairs to watch the sunset that would be sweet too.

Crescent Heights actually isn't that good IMO. I would definitely suggest going to 26th St SE (first right on 17th EB after deerfoot), much better view of the mtns and downtown Cgy.

I live a min from there and always have wicked sunsets so yes I would say that is a great spot.

i know ur asking about location advice, however;
in being the devil's advocate i have to say that
you run the risk of being extremely cheesy / look to be
trying to hard planning to watch a sunset at the perfect spot.

IMO best thing to do is make it look accidental that you
both ended up watching the sunset together, because
girls apparently think that shit is fate.

Just know exactly what time the sun sets and work that into your game plan for the night, it doesn't even have to be the perfect location, for her to think its a sign for god that u are her soulmate.

:werd: Keep it nice and subtle. What you want to do is stall the car right as your passing the spot and tell her that the car ran out of gas. Then watch the sunset and have some dirty sex. As soon as its over, hand her a jerry can and tell her to walk to the nearest gas station. After all you can't leave the car there unattended and you don't trust her to watch it. Once she walks out of sight, you drive away. Of course this is assuming shes just some whore you never want to see again. :thumbsup:

Haha, thanks for the advice but I've done just fine for myself in the past and will continue to do what I know. Some girls need to be abused and ignored to get their attention, others need to be pampered and shown that you care - really depends on the gal. 2 comfy chairs, a sleeping bag (for warmth), chilled champagne and chocolate plus a pretty decent sunset. Judging from all the msgs she's been sending me this week I'd say things are going as planned.
