I've been with TDWaterhouse since I started investing and looking at my last statement, I've gotten $800 in broker fees so far this year and I don't have $100K in assets to drop the trading fees to $10/trade. I'm at $30/trade.

So I've begun looking for a cheaper brokerage that fits my needs. Basically, I trade US stock and do so online and never call in to execute a trade.

What would be a good brokerage? Opinions and why?

One's I've looked at are:
Scotia iTrade
Questrade
Disnat Direct

I use Credential Direct.
$9.95 per trade if you have done more then 25 trades in the previous three months. That's one of the lower "active trader" qualifying criterias i've heard of.
Regular trades are $19.
