I havent Listed this yet in the Autotrader, But feel free to check, last time I checked I was 5-15 k cheaper then any other 99-01 996 model in there. I will be putting it in the trader for 31k next week when I come in, wont last long. I actually had 2 buyers a couple of months ago, but turned them down because I didnt want to sell, Ive been so busy, and I drive it when I come in town for business every 2 weeks.
I spent about 8 k on upgrades since buying this 5 months ago on Porsche 997 "S" wheels, Navigation system, tires, etc.
Cars Amazing, I bought it as a Toy, veyr happy with it, dont want to part with it, but moved to Toronto and Im getting a 997 model out here. It has 300bhp, 6 speed, handles phenominaly, braking is honestly out of this world, its a raw performance machine. Mechanically designed to perfection. This is a drivers car.

Facts you may or may not know:
- Porsche 911 Carrera`s are designed as an all year round vehical, and with proper winter tires can be used through out winter. (but, not something I do, or this car has done, yet its an option)
- Porsche has been a CONSUMER REPORTS best buy and reliable recomendation for many many years, as it is different than any other German manufactured car you will ever own or drive.
- Porsche has been around for over 64 years, and the 911 hasnt much changed since it went from air-cooled to water cooled in late 1997. The basic carrera body shape has remained with minor cosmetic upgrades over the years.
- Each Porsche is very different from each other as there are hundreds of different options you can customize your Porsche to have right from Factory
- There are a sh!t load of performance upgrades, chips, accessories, etc (which are not very cheap) and in my optinion not needed at all. The Porsche was designed over 64 years to what it is today. I would take a Porsche GT2 over almost any Ferrari, Bently, even Lambo today persoanly. I was never into Porsche until last year, and now Im HOOKED!! I think I have found my favorite "brand" for life, and after owning 32 different cars since 16, now 26, I fell in love.
Its hard to improve perfection.
Now everything I wrote was from the back of my head, no copy and paste, so its a personal thing. I would love for someone to enjoy this vehical as much as I did if not more for years to come. At the price I am selling this, you can drive this for 3, 4, 5 years and probably sell it for the same without loss. It has reached the point of where its value will not drop. As I think the Porsche Carrera is one of the very top cars not to depreciate behind the Honda/Acura NSX - which I have also owned a few years ago, and its an honest toss up for enjoyment between the 2, but no contest when it comes to feel, performance, braking, and handling with the Porsche.
This Vehical was owned by 2 owners, bought locally in calgary where you can check out the history at Porsche. There is no liens, or titles on this car at all. No accidents, major damage etc. This car is absolutely mint. There is I believe 2 owners before me which the first owner bought this car at over $100,000k, and in 2005 the 2nd owner paid $72,000 for it. Then of course I was next this year. So you are getting excellent Value.
Since I bought this vehicle I had out many factory cosmetic extra's to improve the over all look, because performance wise, there is nothing I wanted to do. I washed this car almost everyday, waxed and polished every week, and had the interior detailed every month. The engine, engine bay, wheelwells, brakes, underneith, and pretty much everywhere is very very clear, not a spec or ting of rust anywhere. This car was garaged by the last 2 owners most of the time as they only put an average of 5,000kms a year on it. (I put 12,000km in 5 months, I love friving this) I had it in my underground parking of my loft when it was parked.
Repairs:
Ive had to replace the coolant resvour with a new OEM Porsche part, and there is a little scrap on the aluminum part of the gear shifter. I repaired any curb marks on the wheels at alberta wheel repair. There was fault in the passengerside seatbelt buckle wire harness(factory recall) which the part has been purchased and being installed when I get back in town (just a 30 second take out and plug in new part)
I dont mind taking a hit on this because I did move and I want a new 997 sooner than later, but I would like someone to enjoy this Porsche after myself.
If you want me to show you what it can do, as a Porsche 996. I can take whoever out for a test drive with me driving then you, as they do at the dealer. But i have to be in town. The car is available for viewing anytime though.
