I go to school at U of S in saskatoon and have a 240sx registered there. It was originally an alberta car and was registered here in calgary, then taken to sask and OOP'd and registered there.

If I want to re register it here do I need another OOP or will it be allowed to be registered since it was originally an Albertan car?

Thanks!

All vehicles registered in another province must pass an Out of Province (OOP) Vehicle Inspection within three months of being brought into Alberta, before they can be registered in the province.

there are ways to get around having to register it, but that point is moot because he already did reg it. and he will have to oop it again.

Son of a bitch! Does anyone know of any shops that arent anal that wont ding me for like broken boots and things like that?

I had a broken shock boot when i got it OOP'd last time and labor was ridiculous just due to labour to get it off!

The car runs and drives fine and is totally safe I just dont want to get dinged again on like 2 shock boots and cv boots i think it was...

I don't know of any shady shops that'll pass your car blindly, sorry.

SK = cheap cheap insurance for many ppl so thats why most AB/out of province students do it.

I'm not looking for a blind pass, just a shop that won't nail me on stupid things like boots etc.

Don't be such a retard. I'm asking if the OP had it registered here in Alberta in his name. If it was registered in his name he can just renew it without an inspection.

4doorGTZ read better next time.

Thread bump!

My truck needs an OOP. I've got a crack in the windscreen, and after winter I'm selling. Do I really have to replace the bloody thing?

What about factory tire size? Currently running something smaller than what is listed on the inside of the drivers door.....
