importing car yourself?

how much of a hassle is it to import a car yourself from Japan without an agent in Vancouver? How hard is filling the paperwork? how much time does it take dealing with customs canada?

Anybody have experience doing this? Is it really worth $700 to pay someone else to do it? Anyone willing to do it for cheaper?

It's probably not as painful to pay the extra 700 if you just convince yourself it's part of the cost of the car. :dunno:
