I had given Dan at Screamin Paintworks a call last year as we spoke about giving my car a little freshening up. Once my car had arrived to Dans it was practically torn apart in a matter of a few days and was prepped very shortly for paint. Dan had been awesome throughout the whole entire process with updated pictures as well showing me some surprising errors the previous body shop had made. However once the car was done I was more than impressed, he had gone above and beyond what I was expecting. This is a huge vouch to Dan and the rest of his crew over at the shop. Also I would like to thank Will/Jackie@ Speedtech, Lorne@UrbanX, Joe@Autotech, TomcoPDR, Ben@AJR, and Type One Racing.

Here are some photos from yesterdays track day as well some other random photos, thanks to Mike Boldt for some of the photos.

Is this the S2000 with the really expensive ($8000?) paint job? I was talking to Dan about it when I was there.

A proper paint job on any car should be at least that, I would think.

Saw this at Lexus the other week, got paid to have a good look at it :D a potential customer [guy in his late 50's] in the showroom came up to me and asked," Why would somebody do that to a car?"
I just replied,"Anybody with a passion for cars will say that this car is beautiful." He just looked at me funny

I've had cars repainted at reputable shops for less than $5000 but that's not to say $8000 is overpriced at all. It all depends on the prep, modifications and such.

BTW: That is a nice S2K

Thanks! Yes Dan did do a few custom modifications that I had requested and also some due to his judgement, it all turned out great, he had also fixed some damage from being too low. Also I had many pieces on the car that needed to be removed and reinstalled. Quite the process, not to mention the poor prep job he had to work with from the previous body shop. Once again Screamin did a awesome job!
