Which racks are you guys using? Any opinions and reviews are appreciated. Im looking at the Saris Thelma, or the Thule T2.

thanks!

I've been using the 2 bike Saris Cycle-on for a few years now and I have to say I love it. It holds the bikes securely, and is really easy to get the bikes in and out. There is one really minor thing I don't like about, and that's the amount of dust bikes will pick up when driving on a gravel/dusty road, but that beats bug splatter from riding on a roof rack.

The Thelma is a solid rack, just a slightly scaled down version of mine.

I have the Thule T2 and I really like it. The bikes are secure and super easy to load and unload. They do tend to get dusty though if you're traveling on gravel roads, but thats going to be the downfall of any hitch mounted bike rack.

I use a Swagman 2-bike carrier that looks like this.

How much is the approximate price for installation of a hitch and a hitch style bike rack? I'm considering putting one of these on my 08 Civic Coupe if its not too expensive.

hitch is usually about 150-200 without installation, the rack is really dependant on quality and company

Swagman 2 bike platform rack. No swaying or banging into each other, no wheel removal and totally stable.

Bolts to the hitch instead of a lock pin so it doesn't vibrate, and you can lock your bike to the rack with a simple padlock that goes through the latch. It's brilliant.

I have a hitch receiver on my 02 Jetta and my Legacy wagon. Takes less than 1 min to mount it.

I have a stealth rack that I picked up from the sports exchange awhile ago. Its like the pic below, only black.

I really like it too, I got locking pins for the rack to hitch, and I have a big ass krytp lock and cable for tying the bikes/wheels etc to the rack when travelling..
