nice, that yellow yet i saw i at the old airport i was working there its soo loud and it was doing some crazy moves around the air port then refuling and going up again lol it distracted me from paying ettention to the worker in the manhole wahahhaa:rofl:

Are you allowed to bring tripods to airshows? I've heard that they have issues with that.

I'll try and post some more later if you want to see more. For the most part the shots are nothing special that you couldn't do with a long lens. I'm sure there is a lot of room for improvement. I didnt' find the shooting conditions ideal though. The viewing area was on the east side of the runway and the demonstrations were on the west so you had the sun as the back drop making for darker subjects. Added to that, the sky was a bit hazy due to the smoke from the forest fires.
I actually brought a monopod but didn't bother using it (all hand held, baby). The planes were all over the sky so using a tripod or monopod would have been cumbersome. As far as tripods go, I'm not sure if they'd give have a problem with it or not.

Yes there is one in Lethbridge on July 25, and July 26 which is this Saturday and Sunay. For more info just go to google and type in airshow in Lethbridge and all the info is there.

BTW when was this airshow in Airdrie? What date or day Just curious
