View Full Version : Rogers 3G - Data down?

The data service on my iPhone stopped working the other day. It has worked for 8 months straight, and then out of nowhere, it stopped yesterday.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing in the SE?

My phone always struggles with 3g in Cranston.

happened to me, phone went on edge and wouldn't go to 3G...so I went into settings and toggled the 3G switch off and on, came back rite away :dunno:

Happens to me alot after coming out of an elevator. Just flip the airplane mode of and on and it switches back to 3G pretty quickly.

hrm dunno if its 3g related, but so far 2 people i was talking to thru BBM the pins weren't going thru for 15 minutes +

My BBM is down and I can't pin anybody either and I'm working in the N.E

2 people I'ved takled to are having the same problems. All with rogers

Mines stuck on EDGE and pins are stalled... I'm by the UofC... tried flipping connections on/off, nada

Actually interwebs works fine and emails are coming through on it, just pins are stalled... oddness

Damn.. I thought it was the beta bbm 5.0 acting up again..
Hopefully it's back up soon.. I haven't tried it in the past 2 hours though

What's the point of using 3g anyways? It just drains your battery and I don't notice a difference In quality while talking only while on a browser

3G is mostly for browser speed and signal strength for calls. There's suppose to be noticeable changes in call quality but it's quite unnoticeable.

oh fuck I thought it was just me yesterday, my phone couldn't load emails, safari or anything. it was fine by like 10pm though.

Add me to the data-down list.... this is the 4th day this month where data has been unavailable all day. Turning off 3G and forcing edge doesn't work either, but voice calls are still fine. I'm calling and demanding a credit for this month on my data plan, I'm pretty pissed about this.
