Unless you really want it, it'd probably be a better idea to get the evo IV. Comparatively, the VII has a heavier less responsive feel to it...

I don't like any of the cars with the 6 gear transmission. The gearing just doesn't seem right for any of the tracks.

simple awnser get your self a japanese ps2 and then you gotta find a imported initaial d it will be hard to find the game but it would be well worth your wile to find it. Theres jus one down side is that it would all be in japanese
