Mounted tire time!

Who doesnt like stretch!

225/40/18 in the rear on the 10.5s
215/45/18 in the front on the 9.5s

I dont have picture of the fronts yet, but here are the rear.

Pictures:

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/graff-attak/IMG_1481.jpg

And for the front, i was running the same size tire on my old ones. 215/45 on a 9. So just think more stretch then this because its a 215/45 on a 9.5 now :D

What are the offsets of the new wheels?

I could not run 215/45/17 on a 9.5 wide +12 wheel.

you may be looking at some serious hammering of the inside fender haha.

either way nice wheels.

Serious? All you need to do is flatten the lip on the fender, smash that pinch weld over the tire flat and tuck the harness. Done and done.

17x9.5 +12 is playing it safe if you're going for good fitment on an s13...

Do you believe so? there is a decent amount of poke from this exact size. what is your idea of good fitment?

to be honest 9.5 +15 is playing it safe for fitment IMO, based off of what I gathered before buying my wheels.

I could have fit the 215 with a bit more fender pounding but mind you I am running quite a bit of camber as well.

Totally random example I just found

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x93/greddydrift/P1010488.jpg

Fronts are 18x9.5 +22 with a 15mm spacer = 18x9.5 +7.

IMO anything 9.5 +12 is the magic s13 fitment size. A 5 minute bat roll is all it takes. If you're brave enough for anything more aggressive without overs then more power to ya.

Offsets on the new Eurolines?

Nissan_Fanboy
08-04-2009, 08:06 PM
how do you achieve the strech tire look,i know the tire is actually streched on, but can someone explain to me?

The rims look sick, they would look sick with some over fenders and some spacers.

His rears are pulled quite a bit.
a "5 minute bat roll" is exactly what I did, mind you it is not like I just bought wheels and hoped the fit.

after searcing and wanting 215/40 tires, 18 x 9.5 +15 will give absolute flush with completely hammered in fenders.

I would not mind showing you my set up, the poke seems to be more then that of the pictures +7 offset.

All it is is a narrower tire over a wider wheel, as long as you arent using retarted sizing of tire on a really wide wheel the bead will seal.

The rears in that pic are effective 18x10 +18 after an 8mm.

Fitment depends hugely on camber, tire size and how willing you are to make your fenders fit the wheels. That guy is probably running ~ -3/-4 which is why yours poke more.

You asked what my idea of good fitment was. That's it :)

I'm not a huge fan of stretched tires - even though I'm a euro guy.

I like the wheel, it'll get noticed!

Also, the lift is interesting - I did some research and I want one in my garage lol... Do you know where you can get a good used one? (Well, not my garage, I dont own one in the place I'm living - i'd stick it in my rents  )
