Car Rental in Calgary

Does anyone know of a specific car rental agency in calgary that rents any interesting sportscars? I am going to be in cowtown in early September, and would like to be able to drive a nice car while I am there.

Possible candidates include:

Chevrolet Corvette C5 (manual transmission)
Dodge Viper GTS or RT/10
BMW Z8
Ferrari F355/F360
etc.

I am not really interested in a convertible mustang or anything of that caliber. I remember that there used to be an exotic car rental company in Calgary, but I am having a hell of a time finding it.

And yes, I have followed up on all the obvious places (Hertz/Budget/Thrifty, etc.) as well as The Driving Force.

The exotic car rental place you are refering to left, or went out of business. Calgary is simply to small for that sort of business. The probablilty of you renting one of the cars you named is low. I'd settle for a Jaguar from Budget or something to that caliber.

Last time I checked Budget only did the premium cars in Toronto & Vancouver.. I guess it isn't a huge deal. I'll probably end up stealing my parents car or renting a Yukon XL.

There's a place on Macleod trail at 42 Ave. that has a whole wack of porsches for rent.

hertz has jags and volvos budget has mustang gt's and lincoln ls v8s i cant remember who rents out v8 camaros though

btw. allmost all of the rental cars are auto the closest you can get to standard is the lincoln ls triptronc tranny on the V8 LS

I the US you can rent Astons and ferraris and porsches and stuff like that, it's just that Canada has such a small range of people that would be able to afford it... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
