Husky has high octane for the price of regular ALL the time, their lowest octane rating is 90 and the highest is 94.

anyone know why so many gas stations have no gas at all?

A way of trying to drive up gas prices? I'm honestly not sure.

That's funny, the Co-Op on Macleod was also out of regular on the same day as the OP.

My father-in-law was all excited and filled up their 3 cars there

Personally, I'm not cheap enough to go rushing out of my way to save $5 for a whole 2 weeks worth of fuel.

I was watching the news last week. It was because the huge rain/wind storm that hit edmonton. I guess the refineries up there took a beating from it. Which is why there is a shortage.

Out here in Rocky Mountain House the sign on the gas pumps said all the regular fuel was going to B.C to help fuel all the eqipment to fight the fires, a few stations were out of Diesel as well.

Petro's refinery near Edmonton had some damage from a recent storm, they are fixing it, but it will take a week or so. This is contributing to their shortage.

I'm surprised that the gas price hasn't went up as they always do when there is even news that a storm might hit.

The previous posters are correct about the shortage as the refineries in Edmonton have taken a hit during that storm the week before.
