I found your car. It's in my complex parking lot in Hays Farm. I'm calling the police.

It's on 89th Ave SW just off elbow Dr. The rims are gone though.

The license plate is a match. The car looks undamaged other than the missing rims.

Hopefully the police find it. It's a pretty hidden lot. Which is probably why they chose to ditch it there.

Hmm.. Seems like more than the wheels are missing. Passenger seat?

Damn.. But good that the car's found!

The passenger seat is still there, you can see in the picture that it's just reclined more than the driver's seat.

I had the same thing happen to my Integra just over a year ago. The police called to tell me it was found on blocks in an empty garage. (Mint otherwise)

I said I had winters I could bring down to put on it, they refused and said a tow truck was there already and it was going to impound and to call my insurance company.... I asked how they tow a car without wheels, he said flat deck...

I intercepted the impound drop off by phoning the cops back at the request of my insurance company (they asked to have it towed to a shop instead) The next and last time I saw my car it was behind the shop with the front end half buried in the rocks sitting on the rotors beside the railroad tracks with a bent frame. The thief's treated my car better than the fucking amateur tow truck operator...

The towing company doesn't give a shit about your car during a theft recovery as they are free from liability... My car was lowered and without wheels so I'm sure it was a pain in the ass... but I guarantee the ignorant cocksucker just tilted the deck and let her go... Needless to say I was furious and nobody would give me the name of the driver or tow company involved. I loved that car, it had sentimental value and I did all of the work myself on it.

My advice: recover it yourself if possible. And please pm me the name of the towing company and/or driver if the scenario above sounds familiar.:guns: Thanks

^ City wide does all of the towing for them...or most of them.
they wouldnt let me pick up my car either after it was recovered.

When I showed up at the impound lot I had to pay 180 bucks for the tow from 9th ave downtown to chinook. AMA drove it back to Country Hills for $30 bucks. I was furious!!!!!

Your insurance should cover the cost of towing to a repair facility (or your home) after the police have finished with the car. If it was a recovered theft you have no costs...
