Is my box too small?

I am installing my sub in my new car and doing some math i think my box is a tad to small


I have 1 JL 10w3 v3 in a bassworx box. The box's internal volume as per the bassworx website says 0.6cuft.

The JL calls for net 0.625cuft. Driver displacement is 0.049cuft.

This would give me a net vol of 0.551cuft.

I will the lack of space effect my sound?

Add some polyfill. It will slow the air down and allow the box to "seem" bigger.

hahah the thread title was not an accident. I completely forgot about polyfill. That should work great.

As it stands the JL recomended box has a QTC of 0.8something. I though 0.707 was optimal
