I'm trying to find a gym to sign up to that does pay by month close to the glenmore/deerfoot area.

I don't want to get sucked into the WHC shit or anything like that. Just need a nice cozy small gym to do weights at. and the cardio equipment if it's there but if its not no big deal cause i'm doing jogging in the mornings anyways. having a trainer available would be nice too to help me get back into the groove of things. i ahvent done this since i was 18/19 in highschool playin' football/rugby.

gotta plan out a diet and a budget etc but it'll all work out.

btw what have some of you used besides patches to quit smoking? i am picking up patches on payday (friday) so i can quit, but have a feeling i need another bad habit to replace this one with lol

Champx is good for quitting smoking.

As far as per-per-month, I know MRC does.

Athletic Innovations Fitzone for the gym....by Deerfoot Inn and Casino

I agree with Champex. I was a minimum pack a day smoker for 16 years. 2 weeks on Champex and I was quit. Will be a year Labour Day long weekend.

AI Fitzone is a great place. I went there for a couple years. Decent prices and it's usually a pretty quiet gym.

As for smoking... if you really wanted to quit, you wouldn't need the patch.

WHC is the worst.

As for quitting smoking, get the gum and tell yourself that it's the only way to get nicotine. Eventually you'll get annoyed at how corrosive the gum feels in your throat and you'll widdle it down to not chewing the gum at all. That's how I did it. It was my fourth or fifth time quitting btw.

Oh yeah, and I've heard that champx is good, but can't it cause suicidal thoughts? Google that.

Zyban is the bad one that causes pretty bad side effects.

im afraid you left out an important piece of info in the sentence.

On July 1, 2009, the Food and Drug Administration required varenicline and Zyban (bupropion) to carry a black box warning, the agency's strongest safety warning, due to side effects including depression, suicidal thoughts, and suicidal actions.

Thanks for the info guys. and smoking is a bad habit been at it over 10 years now. I'm just looking to replace the actual smoking part with something else. I'm a habit type of guy.

Zyban's isn't an evil demon that'll cause you to kill your loved ones. Like any medication, there are risks, but they can be easily handled with the help of a physician.

In any event, I've heard Champix is more successful.
Zyban/bupropion/Welbutrin/whatever is a dopamine blocker. Champix is more of a targeted medication that localizes itself more on nicotine receptors.
