Yea, the exploit was found a while ago, and they're getting pissed off that Apple has not released a fix yet.

Cell phone providers can block it at the messaging level though, but I'm not sure if they're even aware of the issue yet.

Speaking of Apple being more Microsoft, the stuff apple is doing in the app store (removing Google voice apps, crippling apps before they're published, etc.), if it was Microsoft doing it, they'd be ding'd billions of dollars for monopolistic practices haha.

What MS has to do:

What Apple gets to do:

Wonder how long it'll take before Apple gets themselves in trouble? hehe

yeah, Apple is in denial... next they will probably try and sue people for this instead of actually fixing it.

While we're on the topic of Apple iPhone news - Apple is trying to push law makers to make unlocking the iphone illegal because it could be used to attack cell phone towers. I'm sure 'terrorism' is the real reason for this push....

I can see it now, "abdul, we can't unlock iphones and use them to attack the cell phone towers because it is illegal. We'll just use suicide bombers instead."

Ya, that came about because the EFF wants a DMCA exemption on jailbreaking. Technically, jailbreaking is a DMCA criminal offense. And Apple came up with that outrageous excuse haha.

^apparently all of em have similar texting bugs, including apple, google and microsoft.

The whole google app rejection is quite funny actually, since the app is now available via cydia.....and with latitude being a web app since iPhone has no background activity allowed, its really the users that are affected. On the other hand, google should just tell apple to f**k off, and concentrate on Android anyways.

Apple is the NEW microsoft, cuz of all this strict shit that they keep dishing out...
