View Full Version : Editing Program to cut mpeg-4 video?

I'm looking for a video editing program that will enable me to cut a very large HD mpeg-4 video into smaller sections.

I'd like a free program, and I have searched.
But most of the trial programs I've used place that stupid watermark dead in the center of the video :banghead:

Does anyone know a free way to cut an mpeg-4 video without the watermark while still keeping the quality of the video high?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Adobe Premier... and you can try it for 30 days full features.

Or... cough torrent it cough.

if you have access to a mac then you can use final cut which is a pre-loaded appy which is tremendous.

Dont quote me but you might be able to use the stock windows movie maker.

VirtualDub. If your file ends with a .mp4 extension, you'll also have to download the mp4 plugin for VirtualDub, which can also be googled easily.

Movie Maker doesn't support mpeg4.

I will try the other suggestions, thanks!

If you look down that road, Sony Vegas is great, quite similar to Adobe Premiere

Final cut isn't pre-loaded. You're thinking about iMovie. Still a great app but not as good as FC
