Okay well i have a compustar alarm that was in my car when i got it.
It has a sony stereo aswell,

Driving home from work today, and yesterday every time i would hit my brakes the stereo would cut out and come back on after around 2 seconds even if the brakes were still pressed.
Every once and a while the speedo would cut out when i hit them,
So on the way home, i was tapping my brakes when nobody was behind me so i didn't look like a retard, and it happens every time i hit my brakes.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong.
My wiring for my fuse box and alarm system is very messed up and i have random fuses tied in ect.

Please excuse my cut up, dirty hands, I work on engines all day, no good for your skin hhaha.

I got pictures.

Two fuses, just there, no clue what for.

This fuse when pulled out makes my speedo go insanly crazy up and down.

A bunch of wires, cut, running into the alarm i think.

Loose wire

Just another loose wire, same wire as above

Just kindof there, no plug to put it into, not plugged into anything...

I think there was an aftermarket tach or speedo which used to sit here, maybe explaining the wiring problems.

Thanks, =D

likely a blown fuse on your brakes or on your starter. brakes will backfeed through your starter, possably giving you these symptoms. do all your bulbs work ? do your signals effect it ? these things could all cause a strange backfeed. I can take a look if you need. shouldn't be a big deal.

Alright thank you,
Well, i'll check all my lights and signals,
It stopped for now, but when i turn my lights on my clock dims big time.

I'm thinking its either a fuse, or the alternator or the battery.
I'll troubleshoot everything this weekend.
Thanks

Well it quit for the weekend, thank god,
but now its back.
WTF ?

When i turn my lights on, my heater, my fan on full, my four ways and my highbeams, nothing cuts out,
but when i tap my brakes, this is only when driving, it cuts out...
