How bad of a grind are we talking? Is it just really notchy like a lot of DSMs that age or does it actually grind hard into gear? Is it still able to shift quickly under acceleration or do you have to go easy into third? Do you have pics of the car?

It does have a grind into 3rd. However, I've driven the car without issue or drama for the last couple of winters - like I said it's very drivable. It will shift quickly under acceleration and it will grind a bit, but if you shift easy into 3rd it works better. I'll try to get a couple pictures up this evening.

Doesn't sound like it's any worse than my last one was :) If you can get pictures of the engine bay, an interior shot or two and close ups of any damage (the worst of the bumper dings, any rust spots etc.) I would appreciate it. I'm a couple hours away but if I like what I see I'm not against a drive up to take a better look.

Any chance you want to trade the Talon plus cash for a '97 Chevy S10? Would make my life even easier ;)
