My side mirrors both have gone brown under the glass, any recommendations to a glass place?

Get the mirror glass on ebay. Look for the Euro split convex glass.

Gives you a wider view on the driver's side and there's no stupid objects may be closer than they appear text on the passenger side.

are they just simply mirrors with an adhesive that you put on top of your mirrors already?

If you want to see these mirrors in person, PM me; I have them on all my cars.

They replace the factory mirror glass. They're not stick-on.

ah i see - here are the instructions i found for the mirrors.



Fiting Instructions:

Mirror has strong self adhesive pads on back and it's very easy to fit, backing plate comes separately:

a) you will need to trim plate to mirror shape (you can use scissors) and then fix (clip on) plate in mirror housing;

b) degrease surface where you will stick mirror and fix new mirror to backing plate.

IMPORTANT: You need to fix plate in mirror housing first and then stick mirror there.

Maximum 5 minutes for everyone, no need to go to garage

^^^ Those instructions do not seem right.



Check out these instructions. They're for replacing the mirror housing but you have to remove the glass anyway, so it gives you a good idea what's involved.

There's a slight difference between the two ebay auctions.

US auction:
Left mirror is aspherical, right mirror is convex

HK auction:
Both mirrors are aspherical
