Does anyone know any places in the SE that has a good selection of random metric bolts and shit? I need a bolt for the front caliper of my dirtbike, no one carry's honda shit anymore except one dealer on mcleod apparently. But the guy at GW said i should be able to get it at a bolt/fastner place. Its a 8x40 i guess he said, not fully threaded and has a collar around the bolt head.

If i saw it i would recognize it, just need an idea of where would be a good place to start looking! Thanks guys, wouldnt mind riding this weekend :D

What is the thread pattern? Try triad fastners.

#16, i guess it doesnt have part numbers... i think thats for a diff bike too, but its the same type of bolt, and from the same spot.

I would just buy it at the dealership - most of the bolt shops have a minimum order of $5 (but I've never seen that style metric flanged bolt at somewhere like bolt supply house before, then again I've never looked specifically for it, heh), so if it's just 1 bolt it's probably a wash between the dealership and running to/from places+minimum order

Bolt Supply House, there is one in the Foothill industrial park and one by the impound lot.

THERE! that is exactly what i need! haha, how likely will it be i'll find one at those places?

Called fastenal, 2efnfast you were right, mostly bulk shit. Called bolst supply house, he said they have the right bolts they just aren't flanged.. should work fine with a washer though. And man was the guy on the phone pumped to be alive haha, seemed nice.

pick n pull is good for that sort of thing if you have time to look around.

Are you talking about an M8x1.25, 40mm long, partially threaded, flanged, hex head cap screw like this one?....
