Infinity g35 key fob

hey guys, my buddy has a g35 (2006) I believe and he lost his keys.
he went to get a new fob and it was over 500$. Just wanted to see if there were any other options as to where he could get one before he was bent over for 5 bills.

The ebay key might not work, not only that it will have to be cut(if there is a portion that is inserted into the vehicle for it to start). Most dealerships will not cut "aftermarket" keys either. Ontop of that it will have to be programmed as well.

I gather all of this from the VW dealership, might want to call Infiniti and see what they say before you spend 30 bux and wait 2 weeks for something that might not work in the end
