Anyone of you have a trainer or rollers, or better yet, experience with one or more trainers?

What would you reccomend for rollers or trainers, and of the two what would you pick as a first choice?

Thanks

CycleOps fluid 2. Quieter than a magnetic. But they're noisy no matter what.

I have a Fluid Trainer from Cyclops - love it. The amount of wattage resistence it produces is awesome.

I also have Kreitler rollers with a Headwind unit - have not tried it yet.

But if you don't already have it, you need Coach Troy's 45min video workout that used to come with cyclops trainers back in teh day. It's the best workout video ever IMO (and I have tried a few).

seems like the cycleops trainers are the way to go then.

How much did they set you back?
They seem pretty pricey for a trainer?

Anywhere in calgary that carrys them?

Almost all shops carry it - speed theory had some on sale recently for $329 I think.

They pop up on craigslist all the time - you have to be quick. $150-200 is the going rate used.

I can burn the video on disk for you for a 6-pack of beer. It's awesome.

This video - if done 3 times a week - will make you faster.

You need a heart rate monitor too (so you don't cheat and soft pedal).
