DVD to AVI or WMV

Hey guys, I was wondering if any one can recommend some (simple)software for me to make a DVD video file to an AVI or WMV file? My work is taking me on the road more and more and I wouldnt mind ripping some of my p90x dvd's so I can toss them on my laptop and do the simpler ones (like pushups, ab ripper x etc) on the road.

I use Super by Erightsoft. It converts "anything" to "anything". It is free as well.
