Swimming lessons??

Hey Everyone-

Can anyone make a suggestion on a more advanced adult swimming lesson? I recently injured my ACL and I require surgery- this has messed up my jogging routine and likely will for sometime. I would like to start swimming laps and after a test run last night I for sure need some guidance. Back in the day I was either a Blue or a White so I can swim however my technique is horrible.

Any suggestions? Northwest preferred.

Im a certified instructor. I never renewed my certificate tho, but if you are interested I can give you some lessons.

the colors were loooong time ago. Now they are numbers 1-12, so Im not sure what blue/white translates to.

I recall the Red Cross colours were as follows...

- Yellow
- Orange
- Red
- Maroon
- Blue
- Green
- Grey
- White

Usually followed by courses Lifesaving I - III then Bronze Cross/Medallion.
