I'm with bell. i can't receive texts from other providers other than people with bell..

I'm with Telus and have been having huge issues with this the past 3 days or so.

I am also on a BB 8830 too... it's fucking annoying.

Yesterday I tried resetting my phone, and received some texts from about 12 hours before, but not all of them... Same thing was happening to my friend who was sitting right next to me. :guns:

yeah fuck telus.... past 3 months or so have been like this

some highlights...

19 texts at once on a friday... times on them starting at 2pm the previous sunday

35 emails from about 2 weeks worth of time... also came in on a friday (last friday actually)



and as today.... no texts since about noon and i know i have had at least 4 sent (talked to the people on the phone and they have verified)

Yeah I've had some texting issues with telus. I got a 9630 and bbm was working fine, but sms texts weren't sending/receiving. I sent out some texts mid afternoon yesterday and they weren't received till late last night and early this morning.

I used to have the problem with Telus that I didn't receive any texts until the following evening or even a couple days later! Was verified by testing the problem.

Now, it doesn't seem to be TOO bad but I would say 1 out of every 10 texts I have are delayed sometimes 10 minutes. It's tolerable.

Ok, here's something absolutely hilarious....I email my sister and tell her to text me....she texts and the last line says "Telus sucks LOL"...I have now gotten this text sent to me 3 times in the past hour and she has not gotten my response which I had to press send 4 times because it kept saying unable to send....this is bullshit because I just started seeing a new girl and she texted me twice today. Fuck.

I remember a year ago I was getting random texts from people and my texts were going to random people as well, all Telus customers....fuck man, what is wrong with them.

Those random number texts seem to always happen when somebody in the convo is using a PCS phone instead of a smartphone.

What also happens to me is sometimes when I get a reply from someone, and then I reply back, I will get a duplicate reply from the person I replied to before I get a new reply (2nd reply) from that person. Weird.

ya i was having problems and I called telus... the guy did something and then i magically recieved 45 messages from the last 3 days.

It SEEMS to be fixed now, but I may be wrong.

one of the things i hate the most is when i post a number to sell something and someone sends me a text message. like what the hell its a LANDLINE you dumb fucks

Yeah its a problem that Telus/Bell have with sending texts to the Rogers network. It will get better once the new HSPA network launches Later this year.
