Hey does anyone work for telus? What is the NEW cancellation policy?

Want out of this contract and phone! But I'm hearing there really is no regulation of cancellation fee (ie: fee limit).

I've just trashed my phone and would rather not stick with Telus and buy another phone.

300 with 1 year left for me. Max is 400.

edit: nvm. I forgot. I'm with Bell haha. Probably similar though.

Fawk, just called Telus. $580 to cancel! WTF

Gonna have to stick with em. They gave me a credit to buy a new phone but I have to renew another 3 fricken years to use the credit...

OH well... :rolleyes:

Looks like Im getting the TOUR! lol

I see, I think what I deleted earlier was right then.

You must have bought a phone that would had cost $600 with no-contract recently. But since you signed on a contract, they helped and subsidized the phone for you. Now that you have to cancel, you have to pay them back the price of the phone first. It does seem a lot, but I guess it is pretty reasonable to charge what you owe.
