Driving car into and selling it

Hey guys just wondering what the procedure is when selling a car from up here to someone in the states. Buddy wants me to drive it across the border for him but i dont know if this is legal? do i have to export it first ?

Exactly.

He wants you to bring it across the border so it can "disappear".

It's the same process as if you were going down to the US to buy a car, only opposite.. LOL...
