Hey guys,

I am looking for some Mobil1 0w-40 for my '08 GTI (not many oils that have VW's stupid, warranty-required VW.503 standard).

I see that CdnTire has the 1L for $10 a L, but I am wondering if anyone knows of a better price, or even more, where I can get a 5L bottle of the stuff?!

Thanks!

I've been buying mine from the stealership to be honest, and then I get the filter there too. Works out to like $8/L I think, so if you find a better price, I'm interested too.

Northland VW. I got to thinking about it and had to look, it was Castrol SLX Pro OE 5w40 that I got this round.

We use this at my shop, only place I could ever find this stuff is on Worldpac, which is commerical use only.. anyone see this stuff for sale anywhere else? We use 5W40 on almost everything, its not often unless the customer requests it that we use 0W40.
