Hey Everyone,

Civic_Rida, BMS and I work for Amec in the new Quarry Park area where they're holding a show 'n' shine in September.

I was asked if I could try and recruit some members here on Beyond who may be interested in participating in this charity event. Basically we're looking for 20-30 members who want to register and bring their ride down for the show. There will be prizes and food. Each vehicle will have their own "area" to park and show off their rides.

We're also looking for additional sponsors, so if anyone here is intersted in some local exposure...please let us know.

So far we have a ton of older muscle cars and a few exotics but would like to see more custom, tuner or local scene cars. Would love to see all the local car clubs out here...hint hint MR2 Club.....

Here are the details:

Amec and Quarry Park is proud to be hosting a show and shine - Quarry Park and Polish on September 13, 2009 with all proceeds going to support the MADD Foundation.

Registration Cost is $5.00

General Public Admission is Free

Website:

http://share.aeenet.com/quarrycarshow/

The event will be held from 10am - 4pm.

So far for sponsors we have:

- AMA

- Calgary Police Services

- TD Canada Trust

- Berscht Details

- Original Joe's

- Quizno's

- Red Bull

The Red bull girls are supposed to be there too

Please pm either Civic_Rida, BMS or myself and let us know if you can bring your ride down for the show :). There's a link on the website were you can register as well.

Thanks for taking a look at this, hope to see everyone there.

Bump.

Spoke with one of the organizers yesterday and he informed me that he has lined up a Ferrari F450 to be there. All for the name of charity.

F450 supposed to be replacement for the F430...could be a typo too hehehe.

But regardless, i spoke with the event organizer today and he said so far he has 3 Ferrari's lined up. Should be more once the other Ferrari/Lamobo/exotic owners start talking to each other.
